Eden I&R serves as a comprehensive and centralized resource for health, housing, and human services information throughout Alameda County. This grant supports the disaster preparedness training it provides to organizations that serve vulnerable populations and its efforts to coordinate agencies that prepare for disaster. Disasters disproportionately impact low-income individuals and communities, but preparing agencies to be resilient, as Eden I&R does, improves the community’s ability to navigate disaster-related stresses.
