Hebrew Free Loan Association of San Francisco provides interest-free loans to Jews so that recipients can mitigate emergencies or pay for tuition, home purchases, or medical needs. In order to make college possible for a great number of lower-income students, Hebrew Free Loan created its first nonsectarian loan program. This program, launched with the support of the Fund, puts higher education within reach without onerous loan terms and helps connect the Jewish community to other ethnic communities.
