Yerba Buena Gardens Festival presents an annual six-month season of music, theater, circus, dance, poetry, and children’s programs in the gardens adjacent to the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Performances are free, reflect the region’s diverse cultures, and attract socio-economically diverse audiences. With its robust calendar of free programming, track record for serving diverse audiences, and curatorial strength, Yerba Buena programs successfully reach local residents who do not participate in other arts opportunities. This grant provides Yerba Buena Arts & Events with general operating support.
