The Jewish Community Center of the East Bay serves more than 12,000 East Bay residents of all backgrounds, but the growth of this region’s Jewish community is outpacing that of many others. In response, the JCC East Bay completed a multi-year assessment and developed plans to launch a permanent site in Oakland and to restore and expand its Berkeley location. This grant provides the JCC East Bay with general operating support so it can continue to produce programs that create healthy communities inspired by Jewish values, culture, and tradition.
