Description | Bend the Arc is an influential Jewish social-action organization, providing myriad opportunities for Jews to engage in advocating for equity. In 2018, the organization is focusing on a number of issues: restoring protections for those left vulnerable by the repeal of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA); fighting for passage of a clean DREAM (Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors) act; advancing bail reform; and countering the advancement of white supremacy and discrimination against marginalized communities under the guise of “religious freedom.” Bend the Arc prioritizes the leadership of Jews of color and works to ensure that its membership and leadership reflect the racial and ethnic diversity of the modern Jewish community. |
