This grant from the Fund builds on the significant progress made over 2013 to redesign and strengthen the financial capability programming of the San Francisco Housing Development Corporation. Core programming includes monthly workshops on first time home buying, credit repair, and rental readiness. Two new staff members are also providing in-depth financial coaching to help clients address immediate financial challenges and pursue financial goals. Over the course of 2014, 500 Bayview residents will participate in these workshops and roughly half that number will benefit from financial coaching.
