Alongside its lending and investing activities, Northern California Community Loan Fund assists nonprofits with workshops and consultations in finance and real estate development. These services are not passive; the Loan Fund scans available real estate to match its clients with appropriate sites. It opened a satellite office in Oakland to facilitate this work and supported an array of organizations facing displacement.
