| Description | Young Musicians Choral Orchestra (previously Young Musicians Program) provides rigorous music training to low-income children and youth. One hundred percent of its graduates have been admitted to institutions of higher education. Several years ago, the Choral Orchestra left its original home on the University of California, Berkeley campus to set up offices in downtown Berkeley. This stellar program has upheld its quality, despite its very small staff and financial challenges. This general operating support grant aids the program in continuing to benefit students as it works to reach fundraising goals. |
