UpStart helps Jewish start-up organizations and small nonprofits acquire the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to innovate and adapt. In its eight years of operation, it helped launch 25 new Jewish organizations that collectively engage 300,000 Jews. UpStart provides professional development to nonprofits, offers assistance to program alumni, and convenes innovators who share best practices. More mature organizations also turn to UpStart for help creating new models of leadership and practice. UpStart recently opened a second Bay Area office in Palo Alto.
