San Francisco Organizing Project and Peninsula Interfaith Action recently merged to jointly address critical community issues, to train effective leaders, and to connect communities of faith. Together, the group is poised to tackle regional challenges such as skyrocketing housing costs, immigration reform, and voter engagement building toward the 2016 elections. This grant supports the training of staff at four to six Jewish institutions and the welcoming of those institutions into the existing network of member congregations.
