Jewish Learning Works’ program, The Curriculum Initiative, partners with students, educators, and administrators to provide meaningful Jewish and multicultural opportunities for students at Bay Area public, private, and parochial high schools. It provides compelling content that explores Jewish and interfaith themes relevant to high school students, emphasizing Jewish diversity by reaching out to Jews of color, Jews from interfaith families, and LGBT Jews. In 2014, The Curriculum Initiative intends to work with 16 San Francisco and 13 East Bay high schools, along with more than 20 schools in other Bay Area counties.
