| Description | New Conservatory Theatre Center offers a teaching conservatory for children and youth and an annual season of plays by LGBTQ writers. In 2015, a design firm re-designed the group’s Van Ness and Market Street lobby pro-bono. The new lobby, which this capital grant helped complete, creates a comfortable flow for visitors through the space. Improvements include a small stage that provides moderators a space from which they can lead discussions before or after shows and a location for the Center’s professional development workshops for teachers. |
