Compass Family Services is working to renovate its newly-acquired Civic Center-area services hub so it can house 1,300 families. Family homelessness has a devastating effect on children, with homeless children five times more likely to become homeless as adults. This new building will provide services to more than 3,000 homeless children and their families with the goal of connecting families to stable housing and the opportunity to regain their economic self-sufficiency. The Fund provides Compass Family Services with capital support for the acquisition and renovation of this facility.
