| Description | Performing Arts Workshop provides free public schools and after-school classes in dance, poetry, music, and drama, reaching over 4,000 students each year. It won a competitive bid process to become the master sub-tenant for the 3,000-square-foot Geneva Powerhouse, an historic building in the Balboa Park neighborhood of District 11. From this new home, Performing Arts Workshop aims to deliver out-of-school programming for youth; early childhood education programs for bilingual preschool youth and their educators; and student and teaching artist performances. |
