| Description | Young Musicians Choral Orchestra offers low-income youth rigorous musical training, performance opportunities, and a host of other services at no cost. All participating students both play instruments and perform as vocalists, making it the only youth choral orchestra in the country. Every Young Musicians graduate has gone on to attend some form of higher education. Having recently left the UC Berkeley campus, Young Musicians seeks to replace its University funding as it works to increase the number of student musicians it trains to 110 youths per year. |
