Young Community Developers organizes public agencies and local developers who are working to prepare Bayview residents for the local jobs being generated by current economic developments — such as those in the Lennar shipyards and at HOPE SF. In 2014, Young Community Developers will operate eleven employment and training programs plus two academic support programs for youth in the neighborhood’s middle and high schools. An estimated 700 people will participate in these programs in 2014-15.
