Each summer, Young Artists at Work immerses 30 low-income teens in an intensive arts education program. In the following fall, each participant goes on to develop an individual plan of study and pairs with a mentor for nine months of learning and community service. Young Artists at Work opens avenues of artistic, intellectual, cultural, and community engagement that would otherwise remain unavailable to these youths. This grant from the Fund provides support during the organization’s funding and leadership transition.
