| Description | The Women’s Foundation of California runs the Women’s Policy Institute, a year-long program that trains women to become legislative advocates. Since 2003, it has trained nearly 400 grassroots leaders who have helped pass 28 laws — including the Domestic Worker Bill of Rights, which extends labor protections to 100,000 low-wage workers in California. After more than a decade training leaders at the state level, the Institute recently added a county-focused program that will work with Bay Area women. |
