As Bay Area families face rising housing costs, many move to suburban areas that are more affordable but which lack the infrastructure they need. As a result, leaders from county government systems, nonprofit organizations, and philanthropy have identified the need for a regional asset-building network that will support communication, increase resource delivery, and enact policy change. This grant supports the hiring of a consultant tasked with developing an action plan and launching a Bay Area Asset Building Coalition to support families dislocated by housing costs.
