UpStart Bay Area assists Jewish start-up organizations and small nonprofits, providing them with the knowledge, skills, and tools they need to innovate and adapt. In 2012, the Fund supported UpStart’s work with 12 local Jewish organizations, all with budgets of $1.5 million or less. This 2013 grant supports a second year of professional development for those 12 agencies and adds initial support for another 4 groups.
