Description | University of California, Berkeley, Graduate School of Education is redesigning its teacher programs to be both more cost-effective and relevant to Bay Area public schools. Instead of subject specific programs, it will develop an 18-month core master’s degree teacher program. Additionally, it will pilot new outreach strategies to encourage a more diverse applicant pool, develop a new teacher-induction program to support teachers through their first two years, and partner with school districts to place its graduates in schools led by principals trained by its leadership program. |
