The Trust for Public Land revitalizes existing parks and reclaims open space, engaging the community throughout the process. It focuses on park-deprived low-income neighborhoods, sparks community renewal, fosters healthier environments, and builds long-term neighborhood stewardship. San Francisco projects include those in the Western Addition, Bayview the Tenderloin, South of Market, and India Basin. This grant provides general operating support to provide the Trust flexibility as it seeks to achieve “outdoor equity” through its programs and its advocacy.
