Treasure Island Homeless Development Initiative (TIHDI) is leading the development and implementation of the federally mandated, 15-year, homeless plan for Treasure Island. The development will include 435 housing units for the formerly homeless and will create thousands of construction-related jobs, 25% of which will go to low-income San Franciscans. TIHDI will help contractors meet these hiring goals and provide the project’s employees with financial education, coaching, and opportunities to save and build assets.
