San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) and The New Teacher Project received a federal innovation grant to build a school leadership pathway within SFUSD that applies the Project’s Aspiring Leaders program model. This program model emphasizes cultivating teachers and positive school cultures and has been shown to develop school leaders who can improve teacher practice and raise student achievement in high-need schools. This grant supports training SFUSD staff to operate the program independently into the future.
