Description

The annual Litquake Literary Festival draws more than 16,000 audience members to events celebrating authors and their work. The Festival culminates with the Lit Crawl—75 free events presented on a single evening in venues ranging from Laundromats to libraries. To increase the cultural diversity of attendees, the Festival is launching new events including readings by Native American writers, readings by renowned African and African American writers, a publication party for an ethnic studies literary journal, and a presentation in conjunction with the Mexican Consulate-General.
