| Description | Through its widely used studio and performance space in San Francisco’s Mission District, The Dance Brigade manages Grrrl Brigade, an after-school multicultural dance and drumming program. Girls participating in the affordable program study multicultural dance and drumming and put on public performances at community events. The Fund’s grants help Grrrl Brigade to remain free or low-cost to girls from low-income families, aiming to provide full or partial scholarships to a quarter of enrollees. |
