Description | The Contemporary Jewish Museum (CJM) continues to redefine the meaning of Jewish art. It connects people and ideas through innovative exhibitions, participatory programming, and explorations of technology. As a non-collecting institution, CJM partners with artists and national cultural organizations to present timely exhibits that explore Jewish culture. Its planned calendar will include the work of New Yorker cartoonist Roz Chast; a tribute to the Beastie Boys; an xhibition of Cary Leibowitz’s visual art addressing gay identity and Jewish life; and a show that explores historical trauma from the Holocaust to the Rwandan genocide. |
