The Contemporary Jewish Museum

Program Area(s)
Description

The Contemporary Jewish Museum (CJM) continues to redefine the meaning and impact of Jewish art through innovative exhibitions, participatory programming, and technology. Annually, more than 107,000 individuals view its exhibitions, which explore the complexity and diversity of Jewish life. In 2015, the CJM seeks to investigate deeper social issues that run through its exhibits and to expand offerings to students and educators. In 2014, a record 200 school tours brought 10,000 students into the museum to view work and create art. For many of these visitors, this served as their first connection with the Jewish community.
