Description

The Bread Project provides new immigrants and formerly incarcerated individuals — two different economically marginalized populations — with a pathway to employment in the food industry. Each year 135 new students learn the fundamentals of baking, safe food handling, baker’s math, quality control, and job hunting through the program. After graduation, students benefit from individualized job search and retention support from The Bread Project.
