| Description | For many of the working poor, tax refunds remain a critical piece of the family budget. During the 2015 tax season, Tax Aid operated 30 tax-preparation sites staffed by volunteer accountants who prepared thousands of returns and secured tax refunds for low-income households. Tax Aid also provides technical assistance to the United Way’s network of Earn It! Keep It! Save It! free tax-filing sites in San Francisco and San Mateo counties. |
