| Description | StageWrite makes theater an integral part of the elementary school experience. Through its program, students become engaged with and contribute to their improved literacy. The StageWrite curriculum begins with kindergarteners acting out short dramas and progresses to fourth and fifth graders’ writing one-act plays and directing casts of professional actors in performing them. It serves two entire elementary schools and works in multiple other school classrooms, including one specifically tailored for children on the autism spectrum. |
