| Description | StageWrite brings high-quality theater residencies to low-income San Francisco public school students and their peers. It applies an in-depth curriculum that grows with the students from kindergarten through fifth grade. All StageWrite programs apply this student-centered approach, honoring students’ thoughts and feelings as they progress from acting out interactive story dramas to exploring elements of narration to creating original two-character plays. Fourth- and fifth-grade StageWrite residencies culminate in the performance of student plays by professional actors. |
