| Description | Stagebridge leads storytelling workshops in elementary and middle schools. In these workshops, volunteers and professional storytellers visit classrooms, tell tales, and guide students in writing and performing their own stories. This grant supports Stagebridge’s work with an estimated 400 students in Oakland Unified School District elementary schools. Program participants will improve their reading, listening, and speaking skills and develop an enhanced stage presence. |
