| Description | Stagebridge is the only Bay Area theater that is “of, by, and for” older adults. It offers storytelling workshops and performance opportunities to seniors and places its seasoned storytellers in East Bay public schools as teaching artists. In 2017, with support from W&EHF, Stagebridge will place older adult storytellers in five Oakland public schools to deliver storytelling exercises to students. The curriculum culminates with students’ interviewing older adults and developing original stories based on those oral histories. |
