The Unity Council — a community development corporation located in Oakland’s Fruitvale neighborhood — offers a range of social, economic and neighborhood development programs and services, all focused on helping families build wealth. This grant supports the organization’s workforce program, which was recently redesigned and incorporated into its financial opportunity program as part of a larger strategic plan.
