| Description | Southern Exposure—known as SoEx—provides artists with the opportunity to develop and exhibit new artwork at its Mission District studio. In 2015, SoEx will work with a dozen community organizations to identify low-income youth, inviting selectees to participate in after school and summer art classes. Typically 150 youth enter this program each year. SoEx youth artists develop six projects to present to the public per session, honing their art skills and leadership potential. |
