| Description | Each summer, the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival presents professional productions of Shakespeare’s great plays in parks around the Bay Area. This grant helps to support the Festival’s San Francisco productions, taking place in the Presidio and—for the last two years—in Jerry Garcia Amphitheater in McLaren Park. Adding a venue on the southern end of San Francisco has helped attract audiences more diverse in age, income, and culture. |
