Scattered Among Nations’ photography exhibits and lectures make viewers more aware of the racial and ethnic diversity that has long existed in the Jewish world. It builds and strengthens the Jewish community by sharing stories of Jewish diversity, documenting geographically and politically isolated Jewish communities before they disappear. This grant supports Scattered Among Nations’ Bay Area programming at San Francisco State University, University of San Francisco, Berkeley Hillel, and other non-Jewish venues.
