| Description | San Francisco Planning and Urban Research Association (SPUR) is expanding from San Francisco and San Jose to Oakland. In 2014, it will establish an Oakland office, assemble an advisory body, and provide initial educational programming and public engagement activities. SPUR has the potential to serve as a stabilizing voice in Oakland, offering its capacity for hosting inclusive conversation, a deep understanding of effective policy, and broad community engagement abilities. |
