| Description | Aligned with the Common Core State Standards, the San Francisco Opera’s Opera Arts Resources in Action (ARIA) program guides students in creating their own operas. The flexible program adapts to meet the needs of different classrooms and subjects as well as to provide teachers with professional development opportunities. SF Opera artists who participate include scenic designers, costume designers, vocal coaches, composers, and directors. This grant helps ARIA to serve more schools and to complete a $150,000 challenge match. |
