San Francisco Jewish Film Festival

Program Area(s)
Description

Dubbed the secular high holy days by many Bay Area Jews, the San Francisco Jewish Film
Festival reaches an audience of 35,000 in San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, San Rafael, and Palo Alto. The festival continues its tradition of presenting multiple perspectives on Middle East politics and allowing audience members to challenge or support diverse views in post-film conversations. In 2014, through its New Media initiative, short films were streamed from the Festival’s website 1.2 million times. It curated and screened films throughout the year at venues for seniors and young adults. In 2015, the Festival will grow to deliver year-round programing.
