| Description | San Francisco Jazz Organization (SFJAZZ) is a recognized leader in developing and presenting jazz. Two SFJAZZ San Francisco public school education programs receive Fund support: a cross-disciplinary curriculum about jazz, history, and literature that serves ten middle schools and a music instruction program in which professional jazz musicians work directly with individuals and small-group combos in three middle and high schools. During 2015, SFJAZZ is revising its cross-disciplinary curriculum in order to make it more interactive and to better align it with middle school standards. |
