| Description | San Francisco Education Fund is piloting a volunteer program for prospective teachers that supplies volunteers with the pre-service hours they need in order to apply for teacher credentialing programs. The program offers mentorship plus additional training and coaching focused on working effectively within high-need schools. Prospective teachers will have the opportunity to observe a master teacher, to teach individuals and small groups of students, and to connect with other future teachers and mentors in learning groups. |
