| Description | During times of crisis, individuals turn to trusted community groups and religious institutions. San Francisco Community Agencies Responding to Disaster provides 110 congregations and nonprofit organizations with the training and support they need to respond in times of crisis. CARD trains clergy and nonprofit leaders in every city neighborhood, helping them reach the city’s most vulnerable. Regular discussions hosted by CARD unite leaders for informal sessions that focus on disaster readiness. |
