| Description | The San Francisco Chamber Orchestra presents all of its concerts admission-free. Enthusiasts may become “members” in order to receive preferential seating, but no tickets are sold and seats are rarely empty. The Orchestra’s annual season features four ‘Main Stage’ concerts in four Bay Area locations; three short family concerts; and two concerts suitable for young children. The Orchestra’s family-friendly concerts are particularly appealing to seniors on fixed incomes and families with children. This grant provides general support for the Orchestra’s events in San Francisco and Oakland. |
