| Description | Americans for the Arts is the nation’s policy and advocacy nonprofit working to protect public funding for arts and culture. Its advocacy work includes a strong focus on arts education. The San Francisco Arts Commission worked with Americans for the Arts to host its annual convention in San Francisco in June 2017. This grant helped to provide general operating support for that conference, which introduced local artists and arts institutions to some 1,000 conference-goers from across the country. |
