| Description | In conjunction with Bay Area nonprofits, San Francisco Art Institute’s City Studio provides at-risk youth with free after-school arts instruction. In 2015, City Studio will reach 150 youth at eight Oakland and San Francisco sites. Classes, taught by emerging artists and arts educators, focus on fine art and digital media and run for 14 to 16 weeks per semester. After graduation, City Studio participants can apply for scholarships to the Art Institute’s intensive summer programs. |
