Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center supports lower-income women and men in San Francisco and Alameda counties, providing small business training, one-on-one consulting, special programs for women, onsite business incubation, and access to the resources, markets, and networks small business people need to succeed. According to a survey of clients one year after graduation, 44% of those who came to Renaissance seeking to start a business managed to do so; 38% of all clients saw an increase in their household’s income; and clients averaged $85,000 in annual revenue. Renaissance also recently launched training and service programs specifically designed for women.
