| Description | Pro Arts’ Youth Arts program places visual artists as teachers and mentors in Oakland public schools. In transitional kindergarten through middle school classes, these mentors integrate art with other subjects working closely with classroom teachers. In high schools, Pro Arts professional artists work with students who have specific interests and talents in the arts, focusing on portfolio development and college, academy, and career preparation. |
