| Description | Based in Oakland’s Civic Center, Pro Arts serves as an important gathering place, exhibition space, and resource for East Bay artists. Its well-established Youth Fellows program matches aspiring high school students with professional artists so that youth can receive training and mentoring. Pro Arts’ educational offerings have expanded to include 13-week and year-round artist residencies at elementary, middle, and high schools and a popular after-school arts program. Each summer, Pro Arts also offers teachers professional development opportunities. |
